Biography
Justin is a first-year analyst at Goldman Sachs Asset Management on the Portfolio Strategy team, where he conducts quantitative research on strategic and tactical asset allocation solutions for CIOs. He specializes in providing solutions in the areas of asset allocation, risk/factor decomposition, and Monte Carlo simulation analysis.
As a buy-side professional, he is proficient in many softwares necessary to research investment portfolios, including but not limited to Bloomberg Terminal, Axioma, Morningstar Analytics Lab, Python, and Tableau. Prior to his full-time role, Justin interned at Goldman on the Market Strategy team, where he conducted research into the effects of macroeconomic factors on financial markets and contributed to market reports encompassing asset class performance and market trends. He has currently passed his CFA Level 1 exam and is working to become a CFA charterholder.
Previously, Justin interned at CarMax Auto Finance as a data science analyst and at ORTEC USA as an implementation consultant. He graduated with a BS in Industrial & Systems Engineering in 2024. During his time at Tech, he served as a senior analyst in the Investments Committee, Market Insights sector co-head in the Trading Club, and as the Gamma Tau's treasurer.
